In a 9-6 vote along party lines, a Virginia legislative committee voted down a bill that would have made the FDA-approved drug ivermectin readily available as a remedy for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19).
It was nine Democrats versus six Republicans, the Democrats ruling that patients and their doctors should not even be allowed the option to try ivermectin even if they think it might be helpful.
Sen. Amanda Chase (R-Chesterfield) proposed the bill, which also included protections for doctors to prescribe hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) to patients diagnosed with the Fauci Flu.
“A patient has a right to life,” Chase said about her bill. “And should not be prevented from life-saving – or, potentially life-saving – medication.”
Chase mentioned several other remedies that were not specifically outlined in her bill, but that she would also like to see become readily available to covid patients who might want to use them.
“Those should include, but not be limited to, ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, vitamin C, vitamin D, melatonin, fluvoxamine, spironolactone and other medications,” she explained.
All of these drugs and supplements are both legal and readily available to doctors to prescribe – that is, until covid came along. Now, ivermectin and HCQ are basically prohibited substances that can cost a doctor his or her medical license for prescribing.
In Minnesota, as one example, Dr. Scott Jensen faces possible termination from his livelihood by the state’s medical board, which is really upset that he dared to prescribe ivermectin to some of his patients.
In the clip below, Dr. Paul Marik is seen speaking about ivermectin before the committee, explaining how it is a legitimate drug approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and not just “horse paste.”
Apparently half the world has already been dispensed this drug. I don’t think that’s true and if it was, then why is there a problem prescribing it in Virginia? pic.twitter.com/FsK5LFKEAa

“This was approved in 1987 for use in humans,” Dr. Marik explained.
“It’s been dispensed 3.7 billion times to humans, not horses. This is not a cheap repurposed deworming horse medicine; this has been dispensed to over 3.7 billion people across this planet and has changed the face of parasitic diseases on this planet.”
It is a no-brainer that patients and their doctors should be allowed to decide for themselves whether or not they want to use ivermectin. The drug is nearly harmless, after all, and has helped many people recover quickly from covid symptoms, lessening the load of patients requiring hospitalization.
But Democrats disagree, which is why they all voted against the bill. These leftist politicians apparently believe that prohibition is the way forward in the plandemic.
“Blocking a safe and effective treatment shows you the corruption of how bribed and influenced political buffoons have become,” wrote a commenter on one of the stories about the bill.
“They sell out the taxpayers to enrich themselves. Very disgusting behavior. We desperately need Nuremberg II trials.”
Another wrote that the Democrats are still the party of slavery, only now it’s enslavement to masks, “vaccines,” and Master Fauci.
“Now they are the anti-science party,” this same person wrote.
Yet another pointed out that the government’s disdain for ivermectin goes far beyond covid. Big Pharma is apparently afraid that people will find out it cures the flu as well, which would decimate the flu shot cash cow.
“They’re not in ‘denial;’ they’re actively trying to kill people,” responded someone else about how this is a planned genocide.
